Our Tale
It all began with the love between a young girl and her beloved Benji, an unknown mix breed with a dash of Dingo. Misunderstood by most, but fiercely cherished by this fearless 8 year old, who was scared of many things but never afraid of dogs. We all deserve to be loved with no limit to our baggage.
With the above sentiment in mind Traveling Tails was created to provide a happy and safe boarding environment for dogs to thrive. With a maximum capacity of 3 furry friends at any given time we pride ourselves on providing a calm and thoughtful environment at home. Empowering a space that will support and embrace your dogs nature but not challenge them beyond any physical, physiological or behavioural thresholds they may have. This doesn't mean we don't have fun! No matter the temperament or ability we have lots of games, activities and tricks of the trade to keep them engaged and challenged.
That young girl is not so young anymore but she is the heart and soul behind Traveling Tails. With a whole lot of love at her foundation Melanie has had the joy of working closely with, and learning from Annika McDade (Professional Dog Trainer & Behaviour Consultant) in addition to the following;

Working hand in hand with her husband, Braye is a self confessed dog enthusiast. Gentle and loving in nature, his quiet confidence always provides a dependable comfort to our furry guests.
